Swedish thin-film photo voltaic producer Midsummer and France’s Soprasolar, a subsidiary of roofing materials producer Soprema, have introduced plans to collaborate on an built-in photo voltaic roof product for low load-bearing rooftops.
Midsummer CEO Eric Jaremalm stated the collaboration may “open up a beforehand unexploited marketplace for photo voltaic cells on low load-bearing roofs … It may create a brand new European trade and on the identical time doubtlessly enhance the share of photo voltaic vitality within the European electrical energy combine.
