The U.S. Environmental Safety Company (EPA) finalized its multipollutant rule governing tailpipe emissions requirements from mild responsibility autos on March 20, 2024. EPA’s modeling reveals that the extra stringent requirements would probably be met by 56% battery-electric autos by 2032. EPA utterly ignored the position of bioethanol and better bioethanol blends within the decarbonization of the light-duty fleet.
