Molise Offshore Wind Farm Takes Form

Maverick, managed by Inexperienced Bridge, has introduced the ultimate venture plans for the 1.05 GW Molise Offshore Wind Farm, to be located within the Adriatic Sea 21 to 40 km off the shores of the Molise area in Italy.

The venture will characteristic the set up of 70 generators of 15 MW every, all on floating platforms. The facility output will probably be linked to the nationwide transmission grid on the Terna S.p.A. station situated within the municipality of Montecilfone.

The typical depth of the affected marine space is 105 m; the minimal is 88 m, and the utmost 126 m. There’s a mean wind velocity of 6.35 m/sec.

The 15 MW wind generators – Vestas V236-15.0 MW – may have a rotor top of 140 m and diameter of 236 m. The turbine blades are in-built Taranto; the towers will doubtless be constructed within the industrial space of the province of Chieti.

The generators will probably be mounted and stabilized on Gazelle floating platforms, moored by artificial ropes/stretched traces and anchored with gravity anchors.

Based on the schedule, the generators will probably be put in between January 2028 and December 2033.
