Native authority groups up with Uber to double public EV charging


Brent Council, in partnership with Zest and Uber, has unveiled plans to double the variety of on-street electrical automobile (EV) charging bays within the borough.

The initiative will see the set up of 160 new charging factors throughout 80 areas, with the primary operational unit already open.

The scheme addresses the problem of EV accessibility for residents missing personal driveways or home-based charging choices.

Zest and Uber are collectively funding the mission, with Zest taking accountability for the long run operation and upkeep of the charging infrastructure.
