NETSCo’s Richard Mueller named SNAME President-elect

The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) has named Richard Mueller its President-elect.

Mueller, who’s president and CEO of Columbia Station, Ohio, headquartered naval structure and marine engineering agency NETSCo, has nearly 5 many years of expertise within the maritime business. He has been a member of SNAME for over 46 years and has been actively concerned in a number of of the society’s management actions. He was Chairman (Chair) of the Technical Committee for the SNAME Maritime Convention (SMC) in 2023 and has been appointed to be Chair of SMC 2024. As well as, he served in numerous elected positions together with six phrases as Chair for the Nice Lakes/Nice Rivers Part; Practical V.P. of Planning & Public Coverage and Practical V.P. of Membership, and he has served on the SNAME Government Committee and Council for greater than 20 years. Moreover, he has served two six-year phrases as Regional Vice President, Central and Gulf Area.
