New transmission line to hold wind power electrical energy from Wyoming to Nevada

Employees broke floor Tuesday on a brand new high-voltage transmission line electrical line that may run from Wyoming to Nevada.
Secretary of the Inside Deb Haaland and Secretary of Power Jennifer Granholm have been each on the groundbreaking ceremony for the TransWest Specific Transmission Challenge, in Rawlins, Wyo.
The Anschutz Company, based mostly in Denver, Colo., owns the challenge, being developed by its TransWest Specific subsidiary.
The road will run from south-central Wyoming and terminate in southern Nevada, working by Colorado and Utah within the course of.
As soon as constructed, the transmission line will carry 3,000 megawatts of latest transmission capability.
