Nexans has secured the primary call-off underneath the two GW TenneT framework settlement awarded final April.
This challenge entails the engineering, procurement, development and set up of HVDC cables for the BalWin3 and LanWin4 grid connection methods, transmitting a complete of 4 GW of offshore wind vitality from the North Sea to Decrease Saxony, Germany.
The corporate shall be using its new 525 kV HVDC XLPE cable know-how and implementing a “4 bundle” cable laying methodology for the challenge put in by its new cable-laying vessel.
