The Nordex Group has launched its newest energy hardware-in-the-loop (PHIL) check bench for grid compliance testing of energy electrical drivetrains.
The check bench, developed and engineered by R&D Check Methods, contains an emulator, permitting the corporate to simulate a spread of grid circumstances, together with voltage and frequency variations, in addition to grid faults, without having area testing. The corporate says the check bench might be geared up with measurement and management methods permitting for real-time monitoring and grid habits emulation.
”Historically, grid compliance exams are carried out within the area with a wind turbine prototype, which might be time-consuming and difficult,” says Gregor Krause, undertaking director at R&D Check Methods. “The brand new check bench with grid emulator provides Nordex full management of the testing situations and timeline, permitting for extra managed and repeatable testing.”
R&D Check Methods will ship the ability HIL check bench to Nordex in 2024, offering Nordex with full management of the testing situations and permitting for extra environment friendly testing.
