The County Administrative Board of Gotland has granted a Natura 2000 allow for OX2 and Ingka Investments’ offshore wind farm, Aurora, that the businesses are growing exterior Sweden’s Gotland and Öland islands.
Natura 2000 allow permissions means the County Administrative Board agrees with different authorities that the wind farm might be realized with out harming protected species.
The undertaking is situated roughly 22 km south of Gotland and 30 km east of Öland within the Baltic Sea and is estimated to supply as much as 24 TWh if the whole space is constructed. Development might begin by 2028 and manufacturing starting by 2030, pending closing governmental approval.
