Canadian Photo voltaic subsidiary Recurrent Power has closed non-recourse mission financing for its 119 MW Horus Photo voltaic mission in Mexico’s Aguascalientes area, funded by Korea Eximbank and KEB Hana Financial institution.
The mission reached business operations final March and has been working since. It was awarded a PPA throughout Mexico’s third renewables public sale, by which it’s going to promote 75% of electrical energy generated for 15 years and clear power certificates for 20 years. The remaining 25% can be offered on the spot market.
“The Horus mission is a good instance of the excessive worth initiatives that we purpose to develop and finance the world over,” says Ismael Guerrero, CEO of Recurrent Power. “Thanks to our companions at KEXIM and KEB Hana Financial institution, along with the mission sponsors KEPCO and Sprott, for serving to allow this photo voltaic mission that can convey extra emissions-free energy to Mexico. We stay dedicated to the Mexican market that boasts a number of the greatest fundamentals worldwide for photo voltaic growth.”
Recurrent owns 49% of the mission, with Korea Electrical Energy proudly owning 15% and Sprott proudly owning 36%.
