Rovco has added a second hull-mounted survey vessel to its fleet with a four-year constitution of the DP2 vessel Glomar Employee.
Rovco is changing the ship’s sister vessel to the beforehand contracted Glomar Supporter, already underneath constitution. After completion of those role-specific upgrades, the vessel will launch as a devoted geophysical survey asset to serve the offshore market.
Rovco’s latest survey vessel will likely be outfitted with a hull-mounted gondola and sensor bundle, together with further stern and starboard A-frames to permit deployment of specialist-towed survey tools and multi-sensor towing. The vessel may also be outfitted with an autonomous floor vessel working as a drive multiplier.
Each vessels have completely mobilized WROVs, enabling the completion of survey and inspection duties in area.
