RWE Awarded Electrical energy Enterprise Licence for Korea Offshore Wind Farm Growth






RWE has been awarded a 495 MW Electrical energy Enterprise License (EBL) by Korea’s Ministry of Commerce, Business & Power to develop the Seohae offshore wind challenge, positioned roughly 45 km off the coast of Taean County in South Korea’s Chungcheongnam Province.

This license grants RWE its first unique improvement rights for offshore wind in Korea because the firm opened a Seoul workplace in 2021.
