Eneti Inc. says its Seajacks UK Ltd. wholly-owned subsidiary, a supplier of set up and upkeep vessels to the offshore wind sector, has signed a contract with an undisclosed consumer to move and set up generators.
With mobilization commencing within the second quarter of 2027, the contract will likely be carried out by one of many firm’s two NG16000X wind turbine set up vessels at present beneath development at Hanwha Ocean in South Korea.
Inclusive of mobilization and demobilization, the engagement is predicted to be between 180 and 210 days.
“This contract emphasizes our place that market fundamentals stay sturdy,” feedback Emanuele Lauro, CEO of Eneti. “As with our earlier new-building contract, we have now secured optionality in offering both of our new buildings to service the contract, which maximizes vessel utilization and generates accretive money flows.”
