SolarEdge has introduced that its new 330 kW Inverter system for group and floor mount photo voltaic has obtained UL1741-SB certification and is deployed with its first U.S. buyer.
This primary commissioned system is a 1 MW floor mount lately put in in Northern California, on a Karuk Tribe-owned website, by Arizona-based EPC firm SunRenu. Designed to handle and distribute electrical energy over lengthy distances and to scale back BoS prices, SunRenu says the venture is anticipated to supply roughly 1,575,000 kWh yearly.
Launched late final 12 months, the three-phase inverter and its complementing H1300 Energy Optimizer overcomes challenges posed by shading and uneven terrain on photo voltaic installations and purposes, says SolarEdge.
“We’re happy to convey the advantages of energy optimization, superior security and high-resolution monitoring to the group photo voltaic and utility photo voltaic phase with the introduction of our new high-power DC-Optimized SolarEdge 330kW Inverter system,” says Peter Mathews, normal supervisor for SolarEdge North America. “With the trade looking for options that enhance each scalability and economics for group photo voltaic, we anticipate that DC-optimization will probably be essential in maximizing ROI and bringing worth to each traders and group photo voltaic prospects.”
