Brookfield subsidiary Evolugen has introduced that industrial operations have begun at its Spring Coulee Photo voltaic Venture, the corporate’s first utility-scale photo voltaic facility in Alberta.
The 42 MW photo voltaic farm, situated northeast of Cardston, is predicted to generate as much as 70 GWh yearly. The corporate says the mission was accomplished on time and inside funds following groundbreaking final April.
Scotiabank will buy electrical energy and related environmental attributes from the mission by means of the 15-year PPA introduced in 2022.
