Striped Sea Star
I discovered distraction from the darkness by making compiling these photographs of one of the crucial diversely vibrant sea star species off our coast – the gobsmackingly lovely Striped Sea Star.

Striped Solar Stars (Solaster stimpsoni) will be as much as 58 cm throughout. They most frequently have 10 arms with a blue line down the centre of every arm. Some people are totally blue.
