Tidewater formally opens biodiesel distribution hub

Tidewater formally opens biodiesel distribution hub.

Tidewater Transportation and Terminals hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday to mark the official opening of its terminal enlargement together with a full-service biofuel and renewable diesel distribution facility on the Snake River Terminal in Pasco.

Tidewater obtained a $3.1 million grant from the U.S. Division of Agriculture to help the ability, which can considerably increase the provision of biodiesel throughout central and jap Washington, Oregon, and northern Idaho.

The Snake River Terminal’s expanded capability will enable it to mix greater than 2 million gallons of biodiesel per 30 days, supporting the area’s transition to cleaner power. The ability’s strategic location and multi-modal entry to truck, rail, barge, and pipeline make it an important hub for distributing biodiesel to satisfy the power wants of the Pacific Northwest, notably throughout peak agricultural seasons.
