Toyota accelerates mass manufacturing of numerous EV batteries by making PEVE a completely owned subsidiary

Toyota Motor Company (TMC) has agreed with Panasonic Holdings Company (Panasonic HD) to make Primearth EV Power Co., Ltd. (PEVE) a completely owned subsidiary as a way to strengthen its capabilities in mass-producing automotive batteries. The acquisition is scheduled to happen in late March.
