The Division of Commerce and NOAA on Tuesday introduced $3.9 million in awards to assist small companies enhance local weather resilience in communities throughout the nation via the Ocean-based Local weather Resilience Accelerators program.
This funding, funded by the Inflation Discount Act, helps 16 awardees in 11 states to develop and advance new applied sciences for gathering coastal, ocean and Nice Lakes information and observations — important data to construct instruments, merchandise, and companies that deal with local weather resilience wants and create a climate-ready nation.
