A preferred, full-day tour to Blue Lagoon Island, from a cruise ship docked in Nassau within the Bahamas, led to tragedy on Tuesday when a ferry boat loaded with 100 passengers rolled over and sank in uneven waters. A 75-year-old American lady from Colorado died within the partial capsize.
The NY Publish experiences that the ferry was nearing its vacation spot when circumstances on the water started to deteriorate.
“One of many crewmembers who was downstairs ran upstairs and was crying, completely bawling, and grabbing a life jacket. That’s when all people was like … that is actual, one thing’s occurring,” American vacationer Kelly Schissel stated in a TikTok.
