Winery Offshore has submitted a proposal for a 1,200 MW offshore wind venture to Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island in response to the states’ solicitation for as much as 6,800 MW of offshore wind capability.

The proposed facility will likely be positioned 29 miles south of Nantucket in lease space OCS-522, which is held by funds managed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Companions, for which Winery Offshore serves as U.S. growth companion.
Mission investments embrace offshore building in Salem, Mass.; sourcing basis parts in Windfall, R.I.; grid interconnection in Montville, Conn.; and O&M in New Bedford, Mass.
The venture is slated to offer as much as $37.5 million in instantly funded initiatives to advertise a various and inclusive offshore wind workforce and provide chain.
