A report commissioned by renewable vitality advocate American Clear Energy Affiliation (ACP) discovered that whereas offshore wind generators on the US outer continental shelf will seemingly have some impacts on surrounding oceans, these are seemingly insignificant in comparison with regional and seasonal variability and the consequences of worldwide local weather change.
The white paper, Oceanographic Results of Offshore Wind Constructions and Their Potential Impacts on the North Atlantic Proper Whale and Their Prey, was written by researchers from Rutgers College, environmental consultancy AKRF, and analysis institute Bigelow.
