Analysis Work Alternatives in Geomechanics at Waterloo

Waterloo is looking for appropriate Submit-Doctoral Fellows or Doctoral scholar candidates to work on Geomechanics analysis initiatives associated to CO2 storage in Ontario and within the Atlantic Provinces. 

Areas of exercise might be in stress estimates, populating static fashions (PETREL) with geomechanics info, statistical inference in producing static fashions of CO2 Storage reservoirs, seismic threat probabilistic evaluation, caprock integrity underneath temperature and stress adjustments, hydroshearing and hydraulic stimulation, pre-existing fault reactivation, estimation approaches for accessible pore quantity estimates in heterogeneous porous media, and associated matters.
