Germany’s Bundesnetzagentur has launched additional auctions for offshore wind farm websites which the company says contains a complete 5,500 MW throughout three pre-investigated websites within the North Sea.
The three websites, located about 110 km northwest of Borkum island, borders the Netherlands unique financial zone. The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Company carried out a preliminary investigation of the websites on behalf of the Bundesnetzagentur. Profitable bidders won’t have to hold out these investigations subsequently themselves.
